after by amy efaw
I haven’t got very far into my book yet but the main character in the book is now in a juvenile detention center for attempted murder. It started with her just lying on the couch and then her mom came up to the apartment saying how she couldn’t believe what someone threw in the trash. Two cops came up and knocked on their door to see if they had seen or heard anything. Her mom pulled the blanket of her and she was covered in blood and she said it was her period. She says she didn’t know she was pregnant after giving birth and throwing her baby in the trash and the baby was still alive. They arrested her and took her to the hospital. Even when she was in the hospital and the doctor said something about the umbilical cord was still there she still said she hadn’t been pregnant. But she did not want them to touch her. The doctor and nurse had to talk to her quite a few times to try to calm her down. I don’t know what the reasoning is yet but there are so many options other than what she did. There are hospitals, fire stations, police stations. I don’t understand how anyone could do something like this. She was a good student and in activities at school. I really want to read and see why she did this. I think I will finish this book before I know it so can try to understand if its possible.

free choice
I don’t read books very much. So in school reading pushes me a little. I read slowly at home so it takes me forever to finish a book. I have to be completely in to it to be able to finish it at home. I hope to one day be able to read when ever I want. I don’t read a lot because I don’t have a lot of time and sometimes when I read the books are boring. I like to read books that keep me guessing and that always have a ending that I understand. The ending in 13 reason why was not a good ending for me was sad because Hannah died and they didn’t really give a good ending to say how the people in the story ended up or to say what happen to the people. I read books for school because I have to, but if I see something that is interesting to me I will read it and have no problem finishing it. I like reading class because its starting to help me read more, and it makes me think outside the box so I can read anything that maybe boring to me. I order the book After, because it looks interesting and I want to see how the ending turns out. I want to see how the girls turns out and to find out why she dumps her baby in the dumpster, and to see if the baby get found and it see if it is ok.

thirteen reasons why
I liked the book thirteen reasons why. Its amazing how true bullying is. When I look back a middle school and high school bullying happened all the time. My school was a very small school in a small town.so rumors were passed to everyone in the town within ten minutes. I live in the country but if I drive into town and someone sees me they will say did you hear this about this person. I tell them no and I don’t care to hear it. I was bullied when I was in primary school because I was a chunky kid. So from there I had an experience with bullying and don’t like it. I think It takes being bullied to understand it. I know someone that is very close to me and they are a freshman in high school and him and his friend both get picked on. They came over and I was reading thirteen reasons why and they now want to read it. It may not be the same type of bullying but it still affects them. I’m scared to let them read it so I am going to ask their parents first. I dot want them getting ideas about hurting their selves. I will probably tell their parents about the book and if they want them to read it they can. My opinion on bullying is it needs to stop. We were all created different for a reason. Bullying should be a crime, about a week ago there was another story on the news about a boy who committed suicide because he was bullied.
